Complete Hanging Kits

What are complete suspension kits?

Complete suspension kits are ready-made systems that contain all the necessary components for hanging panels, artwork, acoustic panels, or other objects from ceilings. These kits typically include suspension cables, mounting hardware, hooks, and all the accessories you need for a complete installation. The major advantage is that you don't have to figure out which parts fit together yourself—everything is perfectly coordinated for optimal safety and ease of use. The kits are available in various versions, depending on the weight of your object and the type of ceiling you wish to attach to.

How does a complete suspension kit work?

A complete suspension kit consists of multiple components that together form a safe suspension system. The basis is formed by a ceiling mount – this can be a hook, rail, or magnet. To this, you attach suspension cables or cords that are adjustable to the desired length. At the end of the cables are special hooks or clamps with which you hang the object. The system works on the principle of weight distribution: the weight is evenly distributed over multiple suspension points, allowing you to safely hang heavy objects without damage to the ceiling or the object.

Types of complete suspension kits

There are various types of complete suspension kits available, each with specific features and application possibilities:

Ceiling mounting kits

These kits are specifically designed for direct ceiling mounting. They include ceiling brackets, suspension cables, and hooks for hanging panels or artwork. Ideal for permanent installations where stability is paramount.

Click mounting kits

Click mounting kits work with a click system, allowing you to quickly and easily hang and change objects. The click connection provides a sturdy yet flexible solution.

Screw mounting kits

For the most solid fastening, there are screw mounting kits. These contain plugs, screws, and all the hardware for a permanent installation that can withstand heavy loads.

Magnetic mounting kits

Magnetic kits offer a drill-free solution with strong magnets. Perfect for metal ceilings or situations where you are not allowed or do not want to drill into the ceiling.

Loop mounting kits

Loop mounting kits work with loops that you can easily attach around beams or other structural elements. A flexible solution without permanent fixing.

Specifications and features

Complete suspension kits are available in various load capacities, from light decoration to heavy panels weighing tens of kilograms. The materials range from high-quality steel to durable plastic, depending on the application. Many kits include adjustable cables that allow you to precisely determine the height. Cable lengths typically range from 1 to 5 meters. Special features include invisible mounting, quick connectors for easy disassembly, and corrosion-resistant finishes for long-lasting use. Some kits also include safety certifications for public spaces.

What should you look for when choosing a suspension kit?

When choosing a complete suspension kit, several factors are important. The weight of the object to be suspended determines the load capacity you need. Check the type of ceiling—concrete, plasterboard, suspended ceiling, or metal—for the correct mounting method. The desired flexibility also plays a role: do you want to change things regularly, or is it a permanent installation? Pay attention to the cable length and whether it needs to be adjustable. Consider aesthetics as well: some systems are virtually invisible, while others are visible as a design element. Compatibility with existing systems can be relevant when expanding.

Assembly/installation of complete suspension kits

For ceiling mounting, first mark the mounting points on the ceiling. For screw mounting, drill holes and insert plugs, then attach the ceiling brackets. Next, attach the suspension cables and adjust the height.

With click mounting , you simply click the parts together without tools. The click connections ensure a sturdy yet detachable connection between the ceiling mount and the suspension cable.

For screw mounting, use the supplied plugs and screws for permanent attachment. This method offers the highest load-bearing capacity for heavy objects.

With magnetic mounting, you place the magnetic plate against the metal ceiling. The strong magnets hold the system in place without drilling or screwing.

With loop mounting, wrap the loop around a beam or structural element. Pull the loop tight and attach the suspension cables to the loop for a flexible solution without permanent attachment.
