GeckoTeq Spiral corkscrew spring anchor – pigtails

These GeckoTeq acoustic coil springs – also known as pigtails – offer a simple and reliable mounting option for suspending PET acoustic panels and other soft fiber materials.

Acoustic ceiling installers who mount suspended acoustic panels often look for cheaper installation components, so that you still get the “Floating Cloud Effect”.

At the top, there is an integrated suspension eyelet to which the panel can be attached with a hook, steel cable, or other suitable suspension material.

The suitable design and the number of fixing points depend on the size, weight, and material density of the panel. Always test the fixing in the material to be used beforehand.

GT0751 22x35 - The spiral spring is screwed directly into the top or side of the panel and clamps firmly into the material.

With a total height of 35 mm, the GT0751 is particularly suitable for compact applications and relatively thin acoustic panels. The coil spring can be mounted quickly and without complicated modifications, resulting in a neat and virtually invisible suspension.

GT0752 24x40 - This coil spring is inserted directly into the panel material with a rotating motion. The wide spiral section distributes the fastening across the material.

Thanks to the total height of 40 mm and the 18 mm long screw-in section, this model is suitable for compact suspension structures where a firm grip and limited installation space are desired.

GT0754 29x50 – This is the largest and most robust acoustic coil spring in this series. This version is designed for thicker or larger acoustic panels where there is room for a longer and wider anchoring.

The 35 mm long spiral section is twisted directly into the soft panel material. The generous diameter and the wire thickness of 2.5 mm ensure a sturdy, dimensionally stable design. The GT0754 is a practical choice for professional interior projects, acoustic ceiling islands, baffles, and other suspended panel applications.

No glue or special mounting tools are required, but we do recommend purchasing the GT0785 - GeckoTeq Gator Grip "Magic Socket" or universal self-adjusting socket wrench for easy and quick installation.

Note: The final load capacity depends on the panel material and not solely on the coil spring. Therefore, determine how many coil springs and suspension points are required for the specific application by means of a practical test.
